Charlotte Roffe-Silvester, like several of her relations, inherited a love of drawing from her grandmother, the renowned portrait painter, Hilda Kidman.
Charlotte studied textile design at the Central School of Art and Design, then went on to work in the field of furnishing prints. In 1982 her first child was born. Twenty-five years later, after six children and eight house moves, she is now beginning to re-establish herself in the art world. She is happy to try new artistic challenges whilst being inspired by the natural world.
